Senior Mobile Developer (f/m/d) – iOS (from 32 hrs/week)

At Netural, you will develop high-end native iOS applications for both B2B and consumer markets, bringing innovative approaches to projects with a massive user base

Your Responsibilities

• Native App Development: You are responsible for the new development and continuous improvement of complex iOS applications - ranging from "greenfield" projects to supporting established platforms with over 20,000 monthly active users.

• Exciting Project Variety: Instead of repetitive standard apps, you can expect a wide range of domains - from sensitive healthcare applications and data-intensive business platforms to IoT solutions with direct hardware communication.

• Scaling & Maintenance: You optimize existing apps used worldwide, implement new features such as complex product comparisons, and ensure long-term maintainability through clean code reviews.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Working in agile Scrum teams, you collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and the backend team, actively contributing your expertise to the conceptual phase and effort estimation.

• Architecture & Leadership: You take over technical responsibility within projects and actively drive the further development of the system architecture. You make decisions in dialogue with the team and act as a mentor to junior developers.

• Quality & CI/CD: You live the "Quality First" approach and ensure a smooth continuous delivery process through professional pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Bitrise, Fastlane).

• Following your IT education (Mobile Computing, Software Engineering, or similar), you have specialized in iOS and bring several years of experience in native app development to the table.

• You are familiar with developing scalable apps and are proficient in using modularization and patterns such as MVVM or MVI.

• You have sound knowledge of Swift and are confident using Swift Concurrency. Your primary focus is on SwiftUI, though you can fall back on UIKit whenever necessary.

• Your horizon extends beyond the iPhone. You are curious about the entire Apple ecosystem (watchOS, tvOS, CarPlay, or visionOS) and are passionate about excellent usability. You enjoy deeply anchoring apps within the system using native integrations like Widgets, Live Activities, or App Intents.

• While your focus is on iOS, you are comfortable working with Android (Kotlin) and are happy to lend a hand there when needed.

• You work independently, enjoy taking the lead on projects, and possess the communication skills required for direct interaction in professional customer settings (fluent in both German and English).

• Bonus Point: Ideally, you have already gained experience in IoT projects with a direct hardware connection (local networks, BLE).
