AI & Automation Requirements Engineer (f/m/d)

    Job description

Spring is where new things grow. At Netural, we create the fertile ground for it: with enterprise-grade GenAI and agentic AI solutions, we transform complex system landscapes into intelligent, future-proof environments.

In this role, you will work in tandem with our Agentic AI Engineer, serving as the interface between customer vision and technical excellence. You understand complex business processes and translate them into intelligent, automated solutions and stable end-to-end workflows based on state-of-the-art AI technologies.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Together with customers, you develop functional concepts and use cases from the initial idea to the finished AI agent. You design process flows, decision logics, and escalation strategies for automated workflows, ranging from the definition of user roles and acceptance criteria to the clear distinction between human interaction and AI-driven autonomy.

    • You identify and evaluate relevant data sources (e.g., SAP, CRM), define the knowledge architecture for the AI, and design retrieval strategies (RAG), prompt designs, and guardrails to ensure the quality and security of the AI responses.

    • You guide the path from Proof of Concept (PoC) to production-ready solutions by evaluating pilots under real-world conditions (e.g., via goldensets or A/B testing). You ensure process stability and derive reliable backlogs for successful production deployment.

    • Within the scope of solution discovery and acquisition, you analyze new projects for feasibility, risks, and effort. You translate your expertise directly into compelling pitches, proposals, and strategic roadmaps from PoC to MVP.

    Job requirements

    • You have solid experience in Requirements Engineering or Consulting, as well as relevant experience in Software Engineering. Facilitating workshops, managing scoping processes, and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes are part of your standard repertoire.

    • You bring hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks and have ideally worked actively with stacks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or LlamaIndex Agents.

    • You are a confident and stylistically assured communicator in both German and English.

    • You excel at interpreting domain knowledge as well as data and information models. You can precisely translate complex knowledge into rules or technical artifacts.

    • Your Bonus Points:

      • You have gained practical experience in implementing RAG systems, including Hybrid/Semantic Search, Ranking/Re-Ranking, or Ingestion.

      • You are comfortable using automation and orchestration tools such as n8n or Microsoft Power Automate and know how to build stable, reliable integrations.
