Agentic AI Engineer (f/m/d)

In this role, you will work in tandem with our AI Requirements Engineer. You will translate complex business processes into intelligent, automated solutions and stable end-to-end workflows. As the driving technical force, you will write the code for sophisticated multi-agent systems, connect LLMs to enterprise systems via custom tools, and build robust RAG pipelines. Furthermore, you will actively contribute your technical expertise to the creation of sound technical concepts and proposals, ensuring our customers' visions are built on a solid foundation from the very start.

Your Responsibilities

• You are involved from the very beginning. You play a key role in technical conception, assess feasibility from an engineering perspective, and help define roadmaps from PoC to MVP.

• You develop autonomous agent workflows (e.g., using Python, LangGraph, or Google ADK) and implement the logic behind orchestration, context management, and memory.

• You build the bridges to systems like SAP, Salesforce, or Microsoft 365. You program secure "tools" (function calling) so that agents can interact safely with the outside world, including technical guardrails and clean error handling.

• You are responsible for building data ingestion pipelines and retrieval logics (vector databases like Qdrant). You fine-tune chunking strategies and hybrid search to ensure solutions always find the right context.

• You make AI solutions measurable. Using tools like LangSmith or Langfuse, you monitor traces and latencies and automate evaluations.

• You have a relevant background in software development (backend/software architecture) and are proficient in Python or Java/Kotlin. Engineering best practices (Git, CI/CD, testing) are your foundation.

• You bring hands-on experience in building LLM applications and agentic architectures (LangGraph, Google ADK, LlamaIndex, etc.).

• REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth2, and the secure integration of third-party systems are standard for you.

• You are comfortable working with relational databases and have ideally already experimented with vector databases.

• Your Bonus Points: Experience with containers and cloud infrastructure (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock), enterprise security (IAM, RBAC), or automation tools like n8n or Temporal.

The minimum salary is EUR 3,954 gross per month. Your actual salary will be determined together with you.
